The second trailer for He Named Me Malala, releasing October 9, 2015.

The documentary centers on Malala's journey from Swat Valley, where she is shot for standing up for the right to education, to Oslo, Norway where she is the youngest-ever to win the Nobel Peace Prize. The film also gives us a glimpse into Malala's world- from her everyday life at school and home life which showcases her family travels around the world on behalf of all girls denied an education.

FilmAid highlights a variety of women and girls' issues through film, particularly the right to education. We stand #withMalala today and this weekend for the International Day of Girl on October 11, 2015.

This weekend stand #withMalala by going to see the film He Named Me Malala and show the world you stand #withMalala by taking action at: http://standwithmalala.org.
